I had one of my cameras setup to take 3-shot high dynamic range photos. For those not familiar with HDR photos, an HDR photo is a merge of multiple photos taken at different exposure settings (overexposed photo-too bright, under exposed photo - too dark and a photo somewhere in the middle) with the purpose of showing details in highlights and shadows that one typical photo can't show. Usually these photos are taken sequentially, with minimum time between shots.

I did this for 2 reasons:
1. I thought it might result in some neat photos
2. I used it to be a safety net in the event exposure needs changed rapidly and I didn't make the adjustment in time.

My camera was setup to take 3 shots, then merge them afterward.
This photo was the result of a mistake in taking the 3 shots. For some reason, the 3rd shot happened 30 seconds after the first 2. As a result, the moon had started to shift well off of the sun after totality, resulting in the lens flair and rainbow effects.
